Filming Again!

 Today, was a huge day development wise. We realized that we hadn't finished filming enough scenes with Violet, before she left for break, so she cannot be one of our main actresses anymore. We had to scrap almost every clip we had and re start with Parker as our new main actress. So today, we went downtown again to re film the outside parts of our movie. We had some practice with where we filmed last time. So, that made it way easier to figure out where we needed to go. After finding a good spot to film, we re-filmed our establishing shot first. This was an easy one. After that, Parker had to go over her lines before we started filming the walking scene. The characters whole conversation has a total of two different angles. These angles and camera movements change a few times throughout the scenes. So, after Parker learned the lines, we were ready to begin. I filmed a total of four shots while they walked. One from the front, a tracking shot, another from the front, and finally the last tracking shot. The first tracking shot we did was a little difficult for me. I had to move in sync with Dara and Parker while also keeping the camera steady. That wasn't very difficult. However, the sidewalk we had chosen for them to walk on had a tree or a pole every few feet. So to avoid bumping into them, we adjusted where Dara and Parker stood so I could fit easily. Overall, we made great progress. We adjusted to Violets departure well, and will continue to film over break.
