 My CCR: :

Final Video!!!

Our music video is finally done! After weeks of hard work we have the final product. I am really proud of how it came out. The final result really displayed our storyboard drawings, and it came together just how we planned. Maria and Parker were great group mates, just like last time. We all worked together well and did our part. We also had some help from a friend to be an actor for us, after an unexpected mishap. We got together and filmed and edited a great video. This was a really cool experience for us. I look forward to more projects in the future.

Video is Done!

Today was our last day of editing! It was a more specific process today. Really perfecting the clips and adding our finishing touches. We were editing a bigger portion of the video. It was still too long. About 25 seconds over the amount we needed. We decided to cut some of the parts of us dancing and playing with out friends. We agreed on this part to cut because we didn't need as much of it to get the message across. Parker set on cutting down those parts. We cut small parts of a few different clips, so it still looked even to whoever would be watching. After this whole process we went from being 25 seconds over to 15. Better, but still not perfect. So then we had to find where else to make the video shorter. We decided on the part where Parker falls and hits her head. We cut out the first few seconds of her walking over. We ended up liking this more, because it was less time consuming and made the video run smoother. After watching it a few more times we also decided to zoom in

Editing Time!

Today was our first day editing! We started by getting all of our clips together. Parker then added them to the editing platform we decided to use. Then Maria and I worked on putting the clips in the right order. After that we began cleaning up the video, so to speak. We removed all of the parts that were too long, or didn't fit with how we wanted it to be. Once that was done, the video was too long. It was around two minutes. This was just after removing the obvious parts that couldn't be in the video. Like clips that ran too long, and some mess ups. After that we dove back in, trying to really fuss over every detail. We eventually decided the beginning of our video was too long. So we went back to fix it. I suggested we made the table scene shorter. Parker cut out a few seconds of her looking upset about the test because there was too much of it. After that, it was still a little too long. Then Maria had the good idea to speed up the part where we zoomed into Parkers head to

Filming is Done!

Today we finished filming! We got all of the clips we needed to begin editing out video. We went to the beach and ended up filming in multiple stores and different fun locations. These thought out locations contributed to our video. We had to walk around and really plan everything out. Then we began. We had to ask a stranger to film the first part. A tracking shot of Parker, Maria and I walking down the sidewalk, looking excited. Thankfully, the first take of this was good, so we didn't have to ask the person who filmed to re take it! After that Parker suggested we all got ice cream. Since our video is "The Best Day of our Lives," it seemed like a good fit. Because we were on a popular spot on the beach, there was an ice cream store waiting for us. Parker suggested that we get the rainbow ice cream, keeping up with the happy, colorful feel of our video. After that I was gifted the challenge of incorporating it into the video. It was all funny, but eventually with the rig

Filming: Opening Scene

Today was our first day of filming! We started the first scene. We really wanted it to be perfect because it is such an important part of our storyline. We set on filming at Parkers house. It did take longer than expected to decide on where the scene would be set. We ended up settling on her kitchen table. Parker is the main actor for our video so she was the main focus today. Maria made the fake test papers and Parker worked out her costume. While this was going on, I decided how to film. After a few practice runs, I learned that I needed a higher vantage point for the angle we wanted. We wanted a slow zoom out on the subject so we could see her and the failed test. While Parker and Maria helped work on her looking defeated, I found the right angles. Finally after the preparation we were able to film. We zoomed out from Parkers head, looking defeated. Then we zoomed back into her head after she had decidedly fallen asleep on top of the test. These did take quite a few takes because i
